Following a tender submission via NHS Supply Chain, Med Imaging were able to demonstrate that their value added service proposal offered not only a greater saving in revenue to the trust but also added flexibilty.
The contract which is a partnership arrangement with North Lincolnshire NHS Trust medical engineering department also offers extensive training for their engineers and will provide a service to the departments across the trust which will ensure that downtime is minimised.

Med Imaging Ltd was recently awarded the contract to upgrade the dental imaging facilities at a number of hospitals within the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS trust. Westmorland General Hospital (Kendal ), Furness General Hospital (Barrow in Furness) and Royal Lancaster Infirmary were all updated with various pieces of equipment, including direct digital Orthopantomograph’s both with and without Cephalometric functions and also a number of dental CR plate readers, all of which offer full Dicom functionality and which were fully integrated onto the trusts PACS system
