Strict regulations mean that Trusts are responsible for disposing of their old equipment in a responsible manner.

At Med Imaging, we’ll take the problem out of your hands. We’ve made a significant investment to meet the changes and demands of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE), which came into force on July 1, 2007, culminating in the opening of a specialised medical recycling centre.

The facility is designed to handle all electrical and electronic waste products, recycling all components to the current WEEE regulations and upon completion of the process a certificate of disposal, a prerequisite for the Trust, will be issued. From equipment de-installation, transportation through to recycling, the whole project will be handled by our team of specialised engineers, who have many years experience of working within the healthcare industry.
