Having been awarded onto the Northumbria NHS maintenance framework in 2012, a recent mini-tender under Framework conditions has resulted in a 3 year contract to maintain a wide range of imaging equipment across the Trust’s seven hospitals. Stretching from the Border region of Berwick, across to the Western reaches of Hexham and down to the edge of Newcastle city centre in North Tyneside, we are delighted to continue a relationship that has been nurtured since 2009.
After an extensive evaluation of the mini-tender responses from the Northumbria NHS Framework suppliers, we are delighted with the Trusts decision to not only retain their confidence in us, but to award a 3 year contract, covering the maintenance of equipment until June 2016.
The inventory of equipment covers a range of general X-ray rooms, mobile x-ray systems, mobile image intensifiers, DEXA scanners, ultrasound, dental imaging, and fluoroscopy systems, from a number of different manufacturers.
The award of this contract is a testimony to our flexible and multi skilled engineering team, who are able to adapt their knowledge, experience and training to a multitude of different modalities and models.
